Since 1992, the Academy of Construction Technologies (ACT) has successfully impacted more than 9,000 high-school students in Lake, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Sumter, and Seminole counties. For more than 30 years, the ACT program has placed pre-trained ready-to-work students with sponsoring industry partners. Our mission statement reflects the philosophy of the program: To create an atmosphere that will inspire ACT students as we educate, train, and prepare them for a successful career in construction.
